Jamboree TaHa@U 2013 Negeri Sarawak

Assalammualaikum yang membaca..
Nak cerita lah

So, rasa awkward di situ terserlah

Peserta2 dari Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS), Institut Kemahiran Islam Malaysia Sarawak (IKMAS) dengan Kolej Teknologi Sarawak (TCS) pun ada join jugak. Nama pun jamboree kan? Mestilah ada wakil dari IPT lain

Ni pertama kali ku join jamboree sebenarnya, so pertama kali la bercampur dengan student2 dari IPT lain
Rata2 diorang umur 20an (student degree la tu) sedangkan kitorang wakil UiTM budak2 belasan tahun baru, masih diploma lagi.

BTW, ku KETUA kumpulan 7. Ko gila?

Aktiviti2 sepanjang jamboree tu, memang padat jugaklah. Mungkin fasilitator2 nak jamboree ni berjalan lancar, sebab tu masa first day, kitorang TERPAKSA serahkan phone dengan wallet (motif sangat??)

Sedih weh 3 hari tak pegang phone, boleh ko bayangkan lifeless dia macam mana? Aku pun skema jugak, ikut ja arahan daripada senyap2 seludup masuk phone bengong betul tak fikir -,-'

Highlights masa jamboree, aktiviti2 yang ku agak suka la, flying fox, night walk, malam seni persembahan, presentation dengan masuk gua (first time)

Masa last day tu lah peluang ambik gambar banyak2, syukur ada beberapa orang yang seludup phone dengan tablet. Especially Adim la, dia banyak ambik gambar pakai tablet dia.

Agak tercalar jugak la maruah ku lebih2 lagi ku ketua kumpulan.

Keep in touch katanya

Malam persembahan.
Kitorang buat persembahan drama Madu Tiga XD

Aku Lelaki Biasa

Aku ini lelaki biasa

Bisa sakit luka kerana cinta

Dingin sepi kerap menyapa

Air mata jatuh lukisan raga

Kadang ku kuat setegar karang

Kadang ku rapuh lemah liar merana

Maafkan aku bila hasratku keliru

Sulut gairah jiwamu

Ku yang dosakan cinta kekasih

Kekasih hatiku maafkan aku

Aku lelaki biasa

Hatiku… maafkan aku..

Rindu : Aku Tak Biasa

( 1 )

Selama aku mencari, selama aku menanti

Bayang-bayangmu di batas senja

Matahari membakar rinduku

Ku melayang terbang tinggi

Bersama mega-mega, menembus dinding waktu

( 2 )

Aku tak biasa, bila tiada kau di sisiku

Aku tak biasa, bila ku tak mendengar suaramu

Aku tak biasa, bila tak memeluk dirimu

Aku tak biasa, bila ku tidur tanpa belaianmu

Aku tak biasa, aku tak biasa

Ku cuba untuk terus berlalu

Dari hatimu namun tak bisa

Bayangan itu sering mengganggu

Dari tidurku, ku menangis

p/s : merindu seseorang yang semakin menjauhi

Melaka : 2 Hari 1 Malam

Hello to whoever is reading.
I'd like to spread a word of profuse gratitude for sticking up with my thoughts up to this very date.
You totally deserve it.

I've reached to quite a number of states in Malaysia.
KL, Selangor, Perak, Kedah, Terengganu, Negeri Sembilan, Pahang, Sarawak and Sabah.
And not to forget, Melaka, which I just got back from very recently (last week).

Nak story ni, memang dah rancang nak ke Melaka masa cuti sem, tapi di penghujung cuti lah.
Tapi, masa tu takda buat apa2, kerja pun takda, tiba2 terfikir, why not percepatkan rancangan nak ke Melaka lebih awal instead of memburuk macam buah nangka di rumah kan?

So, I went to Melaka the next day by Delima Express bus at 1300 hours and arrived at Melaka Sentral at about 1500 hours.
I went there with a friend.

Menunggu bas di Terminal Bersepadu Selatan ke Melaka Sentral

We headed to Dataran Pahlawan instantly afterwards by Panorama bus and had a late light lunch at McDonald's. Dah selesai makan, kami ronda2 di Dataran Pahlawan, Hatten Square dan Mahkota Parade.

Mahkota Parade Mall

Haha.
A Famosa, The Stadthuys, Hard Rock Cafe, Jonker Walk (Street?). Nak naik Menara Taming Sari, Eye On Melaka dengan Melaka River Cruise, tapi takda duit. T_T

A Famosa

Hard Rock Cafe

Melaka River Cruise (takda duit nak naik T_T)

The Stadthuys

Keretapi Sungai Lukut (bahan pameran)

Dinasor! Grr~

Pesawat (bahan pameran)

Kincir Air Kesultanan Melaka

Casa del Rio Hotel (macam kat Venice, Itali dah)

Pemandangan bandaraya Melaka

A HELL ON EARTH!

Greetings to whoever is reading.

How was your reaction as you read the title above? Were you taken aback?
Even NASA isn't notified about this THE-MOTHER-OF-ALL-DISCOVERIES discovery that I just recently discovered.
Believe it or not (i know you guys are being sceptical), HELL really does exist. And most shockingly, it is situated on EARTH! :O

I'm completely certain, as of this stage of reading, questions like where exactly on Earth is Hell? and What evidence(s) do you have to prove that you've found this so-called Hell? are starting to cluttered in your head.
You see, I even discovered what's lingering around in your thoughts. What do you have to say about that huh? (k over sikit kat sini -,-')

I'm gonna crack it down for you once and for all the location of this Hell.

Hilton Hotel, Kuala Lumpur aka the "The Hell on Earth"
(say whaaatt~ -,-')

Yes indeed and please don't be hampered as I didn't do anything wrong here (yet). It was your mind that fooled you by drawing expectations that contradicted with what I'm trying to tell.

To make long story short, I have finally (after engaging in unemployment for 3 weeks)  found a place where I'm currently a part time staff at. I'm doing a part time job as a waiter kinda like job in Banquet department of Hilton KL. To be honest, it wasn't my first option to be working in Banquet department though.

Up to this date (Nov 9), I have gone to work for only 3 days and man, I feel like it was 72 hours of working with not even a single day-off for a leave!

If you think that's the worst part, wait until you feel the ache on your hands and feet, and swollen muscles. And not to forget, working under an utter pressure condition sebab Supervisor suka marah2, tengking2 (perangai mcm klau bleh terajang and not getting fired, mmg aku dah terajang awal2 seriously).

If this wasn't for my own good and benefit, I would've quit on the first day or second. Since this is the only way for me to earn some bucks to proceed with what I've planned for my semester break, I guess, I'll just have to bear with it and stay motivated as soon as I entered my work place.

I'll definitely not be working at this Hell again during my next semester break.

A Hell on Earth indeed.

Sharing Story

Greetings folks!
I wish all of us are in good physique.

So, let's get begun. hehehe~

Up to this very date, my days have gone intensely restless eversince I came down to KL for semester break.
Not for the reason that I've been working my ass off with infinity dedication obviously. -,-'
(btw, saya masih mencari kerja part time)

I did inform in the previous entry that I've been seeking for part time vacancy here and there at some hotels around The Golden Triangle area (a blatant reference to Bukit Bintang) like a workaholic when in fact I'm the opposite.

There are behind-the-scene stories that I yet have to tell. If I have to put this in a ratio description, I'd say, I spent 70:30 of my time for being a backpacker in a country of my own and searching for job respectively.

KL is full and filled with temptations. You can't not explore this dazzling, full of excitement and exhilarating side of the country for whatever reason there is! Not in a zillion years~

In under a week alone (or maybe two), I've reached to many places. The first two places I went to as soon as I arrived in KL were Berjaya Times Square and Sungei Wang. I was with Joshua, a friend of mine whom I brought along from Kuching so that he too can spend his semester break by doing part time job here in KL.
(he's a blogger too, here's the link to his blog http://joshblog94.blogspot.com/)

I'm not gonna tell the whole story and neither will I arrange these next events, places and dates in orderly manner. Belasah jelah, bukan penting pun.

There was this one day which I won't forget. We both went to MidValley Megamall, which was my decision since Joshua hadn't been there before. There was nothing much happened there exactly, except for the fact that I bumped into Nazim Othman at the foodcourt. (apparently, he's not that much taller than I am, so I'm happy about that :-3)

We decided heading to Wangsa Walk Mall next when things got boring there. We sang our hearts out at Superstar Karaoke inside Wangsa Walk Mall. It wasn't a waste of money as the package we chose was affordable and served with two drinks and two snacks. And hey! I met Zuan Melodi and Arja Lee di sana. Haha. :-D

KLCC and Pavilion macam boring, so I'll skip them.

Sunway Pyramid. We just went there today. It was our first experience entering that Giza Pyramid of Malaysia. Nothing much to be said. It was a nice place and quite different in an attracting way sebab ada tempat untuk ice skating wuuu~ Tapi saya belum cuba lagi memandangkan my financial standing tak berapa membenarkan. Maybe some other time, benda tu tak lari ke mana pun.

I think I have wrote (or typed?) long enough, I should get my shower, dinner and rest.

Down below are some photos of myself
(for your viewing pleasure? :-P)

From Missing-In-Action to Present-In-Action

Greetings folks!
It's been quite a long while since I last posted up anything on my blog wall. Well honestly, I've been actually feeling lazy to do so. Krik krik -,-'

As an addition to that, my brain seems not to be generating any course to be written up on. I hereby justified my missing-in-action reason. Therefore, I rest my case.

I was in Kuching before, but now not anymore. At least for the mean time though.
My whereabout? I'm in KL in the midst of semester break.
It is common for me to be spending my semester break in KL as my family lives here.

For some people, semester break is especially the time for them to stay at home and finishing everything they could possibly grab from the refrigerator OR spending their parents earnings on activities ranging from vacation, shopping, watching movie and lots more. So, which one of those made you?

Contrarily for some other people, semester break is the period in which they see opportunity to earn some money by performing whatever legal part time job is available out there. This may include a waiter/waitress at any fast food restaurant, a part time employee in any department of any hotel and a whole lot more of part time jobs than what you may have listed up fellas.

I reside in the semester-break-is-the-time-for-you-to-earn-some-money demography.

Now, for those who never engage in job seeking experiences, I'm here to tell you that IT IS NOT AS EASY AS STEALING CANDY FROM RANDOM BABIES DOWN THE STREET. Seriously.

I've been seeking here and there for part time vacancy particularly in Housekeeping department in some hotel (Hilton Hotel KL, LeMeridien Hotel KL, Aloft Hotel KL, J.W. Marriot Hotel KL and The Westin Hotel KL) up to this date, and none of them led me to success in any kind of possible track. T_T

Penat laa tiap2 hari keluar mencari, duit terbuang macam tu saja on transportation and food. Dan juga a waste of time, so does energy! Erghh~

I don't want to end up working in Laundry department of LeMeridien Hotel because damn man it requires an intense amount of energy besides having to work with colleagues I don't want to be working with ever. I've had enough and that's it.

Oh, have I told you the idea of working in fast food restaurant is out of my interest?

Anyway, semester break is, from day to day, approaching to an end with the passing of time and is now at an alarming stage!

I know not what else to do with the remaining period of this semester break. I have a message to God.
God, please assist me, show me Your guidance. And light up the end of this tunnel or I might not find my way out.

Survival Skills : Motive and Opportunity

Have  you  ever  happened  to  be  an  eye-witness  to  a  snatch theft  crime? Or  you  yourself  was  once  victimized  by  these  hopeless  bunch  of  criminals? Bear  in  mind, crimes  never  notify  anyone. They  take  place  when  we  are  in  default!

The  wind  was  blowing  quite  chill  and  strong  this  night, it  was  so  cold. My  friend  and  I  were  walking  our  feet  back  to  dorm  when  something  unexpected  was  about  to  snatch  our  attention.

There  was  this  lady, walking  all  alone  approximately  10  meters  away  behind  us. At  the  beginning, we  were  unaware  of  this  one  lady  presence  behind  us. The  road  was  also  quite  vacant. Assumption  has  it  that, people  have  gone  back  to  their  hometown  to  celebrate  the  upcoming  Hari  Raya  Aidilfitri.

Not  long  after, a  sound  of  lady  screaming  voice  occupied  the  sky. We  took  a  look  at  our  back  and  guess  what? A  crime  took  place  as  this  lady's  handbag  was  snatched  off  of  her  safe keeping. It  was  so  swift  that  the  criminals  successfully  accomplished  their  evil  mission  of  the  night  in  no  time.

How  did  the  lady  reacted  to  the  event? She  screamed  and  ran  towards  her  two  friends. Yeah, we  had  no  idea  that  the  two  persons  walking  in  front  of  us  were  actually  her  friends.

Did  the  lady  got  her  handbag  back? No, she  didn't. As  a  result, she  lost  her  handbag  which  I  believe, contained  an  amount  of  cash, ATM  card, and  most  importantly, her  identification  card  in  only  few  seconds.

Now, she  would've  been  able  to  avoid  from  being  a  victim, if  she  took  precautions  from  as  early  as  she  left  from  wherever  she  was  for  a  walk  at  the  outside, wouldn't  she?

Fellas, there  are  two  essential  elements  that  need  to  be  fulfilled  for  a  snatch theft  crime  to  occur.

First, MOTIVE  and  second, OPPORTUNITY.

Look  over  for  these  two  elements. Crime  wouldn't  happened  without  motive. If  motive  is  present, please  please  and  please, DO  NOT  EXPOSE  the  opportunity  for  the  criminals  to  accomplish  their  motive!

How  do  we  sense  motive  so  that  we  can  stay  cautious? As  a  matter  of  fact, we  do  not  possess  such  ability. The  only  solution  to  our  defect  in  detecting  motive  is, stay  CAUTIOUS  at  ALL time!

If  we  really  are  serious  with  our  intention  to  curb  this  crime, well  then, let's  gather  our  forces  and  topple  those  criminals  out  there  at  once!

p/s : A  word  of  advice, do  NOT  fight  with  criminals  during  your  encounter  with  them. Not  only  they  will  snatch  your  bag, but  also  your  life.

A Story from Last Night

Don't  we  have  any  war  in  Malaysia? Ask  yourself  whether  it  is  true  that  we  are  actually  residing  in  a  peaceful  country  of  our  own?

If  you  answered  NO, well  you  better  reset  your  thought.

I  had  an  encounter  with  the  most  terrifying  war  of  all  time  last  night  (July  30, 2013)  throughout  my  life. The  MOST  TERRIFYING  ones  by  far, I  must  say!

It  wasn't  actually  a  war  like  Palestine  VS  Zionist  Regime  kind  of  war, but  in  fact, it  was  a  firecracker  war! There  you  have  it! BOMB! *as  how  it  appeared  to  be  sounds  like*

This  firecracker  war, well, it  actually  a  yearly  occurrence  though. What  makes  and  why  does  I  came  up  with  such  remark? Simple! All  because, we  are  marching  towards  the  end  of  Ramadhan  and  approaching  towards  celebrating  the  anticipated  Hari  Raya  Aidilfitri. Now, that  answers  everything.

If  I  was  to  give  personal  feedback  as  a  response  to  the  last  night  event, I  would  say, firing  up  firecrackers, is  an  uncivilized  and  immature  act  of  conduct  for  any  respective  IPTA/IPTS/College  students  to  get  engaged  with! What's  more  throwing  those  explosive  fire  burning  substance  to  junior's  dorm  block? That  is  just  unacceptable!

What  really  triggered  this  war? Two  solid  reasons. One  STUPIDITY, second  HATRED.

You  know, in  my  university, the  seniors  really  despise  the  semester  1  juniors. It  seems  like, if  murder  was  legal, they  could've  killed  these  juniors  right  away. I  don't  know, they're  despised  for  no  reason  at  all. Poor  these  juniors  for  having  to  bear  with  such  a  painful  semester  1  period.  -,-'

Back  to  our  main  focus, what  was  achieved  from  the  war  last  night? Nothing  but  wounds  and  smashed  window  glasses. One  student  had  his  waist  injured  and  he  was  brought  to  hospital  to  get  his  waist  stitched! Many  window  glasses  of  the  juniors  dorm  block  were  shattered  into  pieces  due  to  impact  received  from  the  firecrackers  explosion.

I  still  remember, at  the  beginning  of  this  semester, many  students  didn't  get  to  stay  inside  the  dorm  as  the  dorm  wasn't  adequately  equipped  with  facilities. When  I  mentioned  students  earlier  just  recently, it  meant  seniors. They  urged  the  dorm  officers  to  accept  their  dorm's  application. Trust  me, they've  gone  banana  during  that  time. Now  that  they're  staying  in  the  dorm, as  if  the  damages  to  dorm  facilities  they've  caused, were  all  they  got  to  offer  to  the  dorm  officers  for  approving  their  dorm's  applications.

Seriously? I  thought  you  are  intelligent  enough  to  think  that  you  should  be  preserving  the  facilities, not  demolishing  them. Come  on, be  smarter! We  are  all  a  higher  learning  institution  student! Our  intelligence  should  be  parallel  with  the  place  where  we  are  studying.

I  have  a  recommendation  to  offer  to  my  university  management. Instead  of  placing  assistant  police  or  campus  police  to  control  students-gone-wild  events, why  don't  allow  real  police  or  even  FRU  to  assist  campus  police? *maybe  this  is  not  a  good  suggestion, but  my  intention  is  crystal  clear*

Or  maybe  it  is  about  time  for  serious  and  stricter  penalties  and  punishments  to  be  enforced? Do  regular  spot checks  on  students  room! It  might  costs  and  wastes  time, but  hey, better  safe  than  sorry, don't  you  think?

Therefore, I  rest  my  case. Signing  off.

Below  is  a  raw  amateur  video clip  which  was  recorded  from  our  room  window's  view.

2013 MASPENA ELECTION

Assalammualaikum  readers ~

Today, another  history  was  made, as  MASPENA  succesfully  held  its  another  election!
WELL  DONE  MASPENA!

MASPENA  is  an  association  for  students  taking  Diploma  in  Public  Administration  program  in  UiTM  Kota  Samarahan, Sarawak.

What's  compelling  about  MASPENA  election  is, it  is  held  on  the  exact  date  of  N.01  Kuala  Besut, Terengganu  by-election!  (seat  won  by  Tengku  Zaihan  of  BN  with  2592  majority  vote)

MASPENA  election  went  through  the  processes  as  standardize  by  the  Malaysia  Election  Commission  from  the  dissolution  of  Cabinet, nomination, campaign, casting  vote, vote  counting  and  finally  to  the  most  anticipated  of  all, the  result  announcement.

There  were  5  nominations  received  from  semester  2  students, 13  from  semester  3  students  and  7  from  semester  4  students.

During  campaigning  stage  of  the  election, all  candidates  were  free  to  use  whatever  strategy  and  means  in  order  to  try  to  reach  and  convince  members  of  MASPENA  to  vote  for  them, including  campaining  in  MASPENA  group  page  on  Facebook.

However, students  from  semester  2, 3  and  4  were  made  compulsory  to  vote  for  ONE  candidate  of  their  semester, while  students  from  semester  1  and  5  were  free  to  vote  for  any  ONE  candidate  from  any  semester  that  they  think  is  capable  in  pulling  off  duties.

The  percentage  of  students  casting  their  vote  in  the  election  was  as  follow  :

Semester  1  -  88%
Semester  2  -  40%
Semester  3  -  30%
Semester  4  -  66%
Semester  5  -  77%

The  total  figure  of  students  from  all  semesters  exercising  their  right  during  the  polling  day  was  497.

The  results  were  as  follow  :

Semester  2
Donny  -  51  votes, 3  damaged
Ashraf  -  32  votes, 1  damaged

Semester  3
Hasim  -  65  votes, 5  damaged
Najib  -  36  votes, 1  damaged
Aisha  -  18  votes, 1  damaged
Syaliana  -  16  votes, 1  damaged
Nur  Hajar  -  13  votes, 0  damaged
Zullasmie  -  13  votes, 0  damaged
Zulaiqha  -  6  votes, 0  damaged
Aishah  -  6  votes, 0  damaged
Syazwani  -  4  votes, 0  damaged
Mohd  Syamil  -  4  votes, 1  damaged

Semester  4
Vianny  -  81  votes, 3  damaged
Patricia  -  58  votes, 2  damaged
Amirrul  -  29  votes, 1  damaged
Nurhaziqah  -  11  votes, 1  damaged
Rosemary  -  8  votes, 1  damaged
Norezureen  -  8  votes, 0  damaged

To  wrap  up  this  entry, it  is  hoped  that  MASPENA  will  come  up  with  a  more  credible  and  responsible  Cabinet  that  will  bring  MASPENA  climb  up  to  another  new  level  of  success  for  its  own  future  and  for  the  betterment  of  its  members.
