Hello to whoever you may be
It’s another new day
We are a day older and a day nearer to DEATH
Life can be so fascinating if we rotate our PERSPECTIVES at
times
The issue of PTPTN is closely related to IPTA/IPTS students
across the nation
As at January 31, 2014, a number of 2.15 MILLION students
benefit from this loan with a total allocation of RM48.27 BILLION since its
introduction
In 2014, RM2.9 BILLION is allocated to 501, 414 current
students and 211, 098 new students
*that’s a lot of bucks, we’re talking about BILLION*
I’m not an applicant, but most of my friends are
Alhamdulillah, I’m blessed with parents who can financially
aid my study
But not everyone is as FORTUNATE as I am
The subject that I’d like to bring up to attention is regarding
a motion to ABOLISH PTPTN
But before anything, let me represent myself as a
NON-PARTISAN with a NEUTRAL belief
Let’s set aside our political affiliation and OPEN our
hearts towards this matter
That way, we can mutually achieve a SMOOTH discourse along
the way
The government and opposition are in DIFFERENT boat over
this matter with the government wishes to SUSTAIN it and the opposition is
interested in the other way around
In discussing this critical matter, opinions of the
applicants are INEVITABLE
I just want to stress that NOTHING is FREE in this world
nowadays
If you don’t FIGHT, you lose
Many applicants are UNEASY with the idea of paying back the
loan
There are 412, 245 students who haven’t made their loan
repayments as at August 31 last year
It is understandable that every applicant ORIGINATES from
DIFFERENT financial backgrounds
There are applicants who BARELY even have money to live,
what’s more talking about loan repayment? DEBTS are after their lives, how can
they even SLEEP at night?
This situation or should I say DARK reality, can actually be
AVOIDED from the very beginning
But how is this even possible?
I’ll tell you how
PTPTN has agreed to WRITE OFF the loan, but on condition
The condition is very simple, graduate with 1st
CLASS DEGREE and you’re free
For IPTS students, they must also acquire ACCREDITATION from
MQA for the course they attended
People may say, it is a lot EASIER to speak than done
And the fact that not everyone is blessed with INTELLIGENCE,
is the reason that not everyone can fulfill such condition as required
People may also say, PTPTN is fund by the people through
TAXATION
Therefore, they are entitled to the money which they applied
as loan
So, no paying back should apply here in the right sense
Well then, think again
As I said earlier, if you don’t fight, you lose
And nothing is FREE in this world
This is an OPEN world with no BARRIERS to excellent success
Every single person was born with a BRAIN, make use of that
organ to the fullest extend
The only difference between successful and less successful
students is measured at how WISELY they use their brains
You don’t have to worry about paying back your PTPTN loan
just by obtaining 1st class degree
Therefore, from now on, initiate some efforts to lawfully ESCAPE
from the obligation of repaying your loan by STUDYING really hard (or smart or
both) starting from the 1st year of your study
I wish you all the best with that and make sure you SUCCEED!
Another thing before I wrap up, taxation is the most
CRITICAL source of income to the country
Those money are used for the purpose of DEVELOPMENT which
will benefit us all entirely
Buildings and infrastructures AREN’T the only areas that
need development, so do our POLITICAL system, ECONOMIC growth and SOCIAL life
Especially EDUCATION development
Especially EDUCATION development
Funds are needed to preserve and improve university infrastructures, to buy lectures materials and the list goes on. In fact, the list is rolling long
There are many things that can be done whenever there is fund of course.
What I’m trying to say here is, PTPTN or should I say the
government, need those money back to offer us a COMFORT living. Don’t you want
it that way?
It’s you to decide now for you future
Whatever your decision is, I won’t JUDGE
Nor will I INFLUENT your decision, it’s your call afterall
I only want you to decide wisely
Please decide wisely
